Information Note on Cookies
What are Cookies
Generally speaking, cookies are small text files that the websites visited by users send to their terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored and sent back to the same websites the next time the user visits the site again.
When navigating the Internet, users may receive two different types of cookies: (a) those from the website visited by the user (so-called “first party cookies”); and/or (b) those of other websites or web servers (so-called “third party cookies”).
Cookies can be further distinguished according to the purpose for which they are used: some help to improve navigation, by storing some of the users’ choices concerning specific configurations (so-called “technical cookies”), while others monitor the users’ navigation to send users advertisements and/or offer services in line with users’ preferences (so-called “profiling cookies”)
First Party Cookies
The Website uses the following types of technical first party cookies, the installation of which requires no consent from the user:
(a) Navigation or session cookies: these are fundamental for allowing the user to move freely around our Website and correctly use the relative services; these are not stored on the user’s computer and are deleted when the browser is closed; and
(b) Functional cookies: used solely to improve and speed up navigation on the Website by recording some choices made by the users (such as language preferences). These are used to ensure efficient navigation and session stability, maintain the log-in and the selected navigation country for the whole session, etc. They are also used to record the choices made by users concerning the viewing of some elements in the page, such as information and communication banners. The use of technical cookies does not require the prior consent of users pursuant to the laws in force.
Users can prevent the installation of technical cookies at any time using the settings in their own browser, aware that such choice may complicate, slow down or even block the navigation of the Website.
Third Party Cookies
It is possible that while users are navigating our Website, some cookies may be stored on their devices which are not directly controlled and managed by us. This happens, for example, when users visit a page which includes the contents of a third party website.
In this specific case, the Website uses some types of analytical cookies which, for example, collect the following information:
• number of visitors, page views and navigation in the Website;
• effectiveness of acquisition campaigns according to the source of the web traffic; and
• details of the products viewed and downloaded on the Website
These cookies, and the purposes for which they are used outside of the Website, fall under the direct and exclusive responsibility of the third party which installs them on the users’ terminal. If users do not wish to receive third party cookies on their terminal, at any time, through the link given below, they can access the information notes and the consent forms of these third parties and block their receipt.
How to Disable the Cookies
When first visiting the Website, users can accept all cookies by clicking on the “OK” or “X” (to close the banner), or by clicking on any other element in the web page outside of the banner itself. In all other cases and on subsequent visits to the Website (by clicking on the “Cookies Notice” link at the foot of the homepage on the Website), users can access this Cookies Notice and deny their consent to the installation of cookies by clicking on the link to “Privacy Notice” and “Disabling Google Analytics cookies” described above.
In any case, given that the majority of browsers are programmed to accept cookies automatically, users can choose not to receive them, above all in the case that the third party concerned has not provided a correct opt-out procedure, by accessing the browser settings and disabling their use as described in the procedures specified by Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, and Opera, as applicable.
For more information on cookies you may visit the website www.youronlinechoices.com (only for the services covered by this platform) to obtain information on how to delete or manage cookies according to the browser used and to set the user preferences for third party cookies.

(b) as mentioned above, the use of technical cookies does not require the prior consent of the user as these are required to ensure navigation on and the correct operation of the Website;
(c) if the technical cookies are deleted via the browser settings, it may not be possible to fully navigate the Website; and
(d) the data collected may be disclosed only pursuant to the terms of the Privacy Notice, for similar or in any case connected purposes to those described above.
